This policy covers what happens when you visit jobsinclt.com or subscribe to the Jobs in CLT newsletter. Jobs in CLT is published by Citrus Peak LLC.

Information We Collect

  • If you subscribe: your name and email address, used to send the newsletter.
  • If you contact us: your name and email address, along with whatever you write, used to answer you.
  • If you post a job: your company name, your own name, email, and phone number, the job details you provide, and which pricing tier you selected – used to follow up with you by email about your listing.
  • If you browse the site: jobsinclt.com sets no cookies of its own. See Third Parties We Use and Cookies and Tracking below for what our analytics and advertising providers do.

How We Use Your Information

We use your name and email address to send the newsletter, to respond to you directly, to follow up on a job-listing request, and to keep the subscriber list accurate. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build behavioral profiles for sale to third parties.

Third Parties We Use

  • MailerLite: manages the subscriber list, delivers the newsletter, and tracks opens and link clicks so we can see whether an email was useful. It processes your email address under its own privacy and security practices.
  • Resend: delivers the notification email we receive when you submit the “Post a Job” form – it processes your submission’s contents solely to send us that one email.
  • Cloudflare: hosts this website and provides built-in analytics to see aggregate traffic such as page views, country, and browser type; it does not use cookies for this and does not identify you individually. Cloudflare also provides Turnstile, which checks that whoever submits the subscribe form or the “Post a Job” form is a person, not a bot, before we act on the submission. Turnstile may set its own cookies or use browser local storage as part of that check, and processes signals such as your IP address and browser information to do so, under Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Policy Addendum.
  • Google AdSense: serves banner ads on some of our pages. If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you’re shown a consent message before AdSense sets any non-essential cookie or serves a personalized ad, with declining presented just as prominently as accepting; you can change your choice afterward through that same message. See Cookies and Tracking below for what AdSense itself involves.

Cookies and Tracking

Cloudflare’s analytics is cookieless. Cloudflare Turnstile, which screens the subscribe form and the “Post a Job” form for bots, may set its own cookies or use local storage wherever either form appears. Newsletter emails sent through MailerLite may include tracking pixels and link-tracking to measure opens and clicks, standard practice for email newsletters. On pages with advertisements, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may set cookies in your browser to serve and measure ads; visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent message first, with an equally prominent option to decline. Outside of those two forms and pages with ad placements, no other page on the site sets cookies.

Data Retention

We keep your name and email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or as long as needed to respond to your inquiry. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our active systems.

Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, and consistent with the CCPA, CalOPPA, and GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal information:

  • Unsubscribing: every email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it removes you immediately.
  • Access and know: you can request a report of what personal information we hold about you and where it came from.
  • Correction: you can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Deletion: you can request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal exceptions.
  • Objection and restriction: you can object to, or ask us to restrict, how we process your personal information.
  • Portability: you can request a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
  • No sale, and opting out of ads: we do not sell your personal information for money. AdSense’s ad personalization may be considered “sharing” under California law; you can opt out of it through Google’s Ad Settings and your browser’s cookie controls.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or reduce the quality of the newsletter because you exercised any of these rights.
  • Do Not Track: our site does not currently alter its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal.

We process your name and email address for the newsletter based on your consent when you subscribe, and correspondence based on our legitimate interest in responding to you. Your information is stored and processed in the United States; we rely on our processors’ standard safeguards for data transferred from the EEA or UK. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Children’s Privacy

Jobs in CLT is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
